About the Author
Sarah Careins grew up in the cornfields of rural Indiana, USA. From her childhood until the present day, she has always felt God leading her to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
She attended and volunteered at Master’s Commission (a school of ministry and discipleship) where she gained hands-on experience in all types of ministry. She received her Ministerial Studies diploma through Global University in 2006 and was ordained as a minister of the Assemblies of God in 2008.
Sarah has served on the mission field since 2007. In South Africa, she helped relaunch and develop the National Youth Ministries of the International Assemblies of God and pioneered a university ministry, The Journey.
An accomplished speaker and writer, Sarah is most comfortable with the title of “disciple maker.” She considers the development and training of young men and women for ministry as one of her greatest passions and calling.
In August 2017, Sarah married the man of her dreams—Russ. Russ is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and an assistant pastor. He has a powerful testimony, evangelistic spirit, and a call to international ministry.
Russ and Sarah currently reside in Texas where they are preparing to return to the mission field together. Both believe that God will use them as a Spirit-empowered team to reach the unreached and train other disciple makers for God’s dream.
